Acne

The MedCos IPL method enables highly effective and safe treatment of many forms of acne. The high-energy light is absorbed by the skin and converted into heat. This heat counteracts the bacteria P. Acnes. This bacteria is the main cause of acne. The treatment will smooth the skin, noticeably reducing the acne and the red glow.

A session takes about 10-15 minutes and there are periods of about 2 weeks between successive sessions. Depending on the severity of the acne, it will first be determined the viability of this treatment, the number sessions required and the most optimum frequency. This may prove to be a frequency higher than once every 2 weeks. Generally, a program of 8 sessions will be required to achieve the desired result.

Please Note: the treatment will smooth the skin and its appearance will noticeably improve; however, acne has interior or hormonal causes, so it will keep appearing.
